Tips to Keep Your Lips Young and Healthy
Your lips are a very delicate part of your skin and need constant protection
and nourishment. Remember these simple beauty practices to keep your
lips young and beautiful:
Moisturize Your Lips
at Night
After the cleansing process of your face at night is finished, apply
your face and eye cream. If you had any left over eye cream, apply it to
your lips (never waste your products). The lips and the throat can always
use extra amounts. The constant moisturizing of the lips can help prevent
dehydration and chapping and will help make your lips look smoother and
more supple.
Use a Lip Balm Frequently
Always use a lip balm during the day alone or prior to the application
of your lipstick. Mandana Beaute has a vitamin based lip balm for
such a reason. I do not recommend "chap stick" type products because
of their strong "waxiness". Anything that is hard to apply to your
lips will actually pull on the gentle skin of the lips and over time cause
wrinkles.
Use a Lipscrub Once
a Week
Once a week use a lipscrub. Our lipscrub product is designed
to exfoliate the dead skin cells that have built-up on your lips over time.
After using a gentle exfoliant you will notice smoothness of your lips
right away. If you apply your lipstick following the use of a lipscrub,
you will notice the smooth application of the lipstick on your lips.
Your lipstick will also gain longer staying power.
Nourish and Protect
your lips From the Environment
As you continue to use Mandana Beaute's lipsticks, you are constantly
reassuring your lips with multi-vitamin ingredients that will continue
to keep your lips younger and healthier. The SPF 15 will protect
against sun and environmental damage to the delicate skin tissue of your
lips.
Use a Mild Makeup
Remover to Remove Lipstick
To remove your lipstick, use soft cotton and a mild makeup remover
either in a cream or a liquid form to help prevent your lips from getting
damaged. Tissue paper may be good for other uses but it is too harsh
to be used for your lips! The coarse fibers of the tissue paper is
generally too rough on the skin and can dehydrate the natural moistures
of the lips and can result in creation of wrinkles.
